Sylvania Mid Century Stereo Turntable Console

Item Details

A circa 1960s Sylvania stereo turntable console with tube speaker. The piece is housed in a Mid Century Modern inspired wooden cabinet, resting on four tapered, rounded legs. The cabinet features a black, cream and gold tone cloth grill marked ‘Sylvania Stereo’. The console opens to the top to reveal a record player with RPM settings for 16, 33, 45 and S-78. It includes adjustment knobs for treble, loudness and bass, as well as an information and layout sheet to the interior, marked ‘4312’.

Condition

- record player and speaker are untested; cabinet is good to fair, with scuffs, scratches, marks and wear; dust, stains and accretion present throughout; wear and discoloration to interior layout sheet.
