Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of ruby, cocoa, black, cream, peach and sage. It features an allover herati pattern incorporating flowers of different types, palmettes and stylized foliates over an abrashed ruby field. The field is framed by three borders, including meander patterns and chevrons. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
