A Howard Miller Richmond oak grandfather clock. A classic clock that has been retired this clock features an oak wood case with a golden oak finish a moon phase dial and triple chimes. The clock has an arched bonnet with a book matched olive ash burl crest and carved shell overlay. A glass front door on the top that is flanked by ring turned side columns and displays an astrological, moving blue moon phase dial above a brass clock. The clock features brass spandrels and a brass center with a repousse decorative and floral design, a silvertone chapter ring with goldtone Arabic numbers, three key arbors and black serpentine hands. Other features of the clock include glass side panels and fluted side columns that flank a crystal cut glass door at the waist. The door displays an illuminated interior with a mirrored back, a brass lyre pendulum and cylinder chimes. The clock has a Kieninger cable driven movement with triple chimes and a chime silence lever and stands on a plinth style base with a scalloped edge and bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Howard Miller’ on the face and verso.
