Antique Chippendale Style Mahogany Chest

Item Details

An antique Chippendale style mahogany chest. The c. 1755-1765 chest has a beveled top edge, four aligned drawers with hand cut dovetail joinery, brass bale pulls, holly wood stringing trim to the drawer edges, brass escutcheons and bracketed feet. The chest has flat panel sides. The chest was purchased at an antique shop in Versailles, Kentucky.
