Early 20th Century Wave Crest Milk Glass Dresser Box

Item Details

An early twentieth century Wave Crest milk glass dresser box. The piece features a circular shape with rounded shoulders and seashell design in raised relief to the top and bottom. The piece has been hand-decorated with floral and foliate details in blue, cream and brown tones. It includes an embossed gold tone collar and crest and a fabric lining to the interior of the lid. It is marked ‘Wave Crest’ to the underside.

Condition

- some dust and soiling noted; finish wear and oxidation to the metal collar and clasp; minor finish wear.
