A Waterbury Clock Co. Heron wall clock with an advertisement. A Victorian style vintage clock that has an oak case and a schoolhouse bonnet with a drop style base. The clock has an octagon shaped wood frame with carved egg and dart molding that surrounds a brass framed glass cover. The cover displays a white dial with black Arabic numbers and slender black hands and the dial is marked ‘Grand Avenue Lumber Co.’ and ‘Est. 1926’ in brown script on the center. Other features of the clock include a wood drop with carved egg and dart molding and a glass front door that displays a brass and wood pendulum. The clock has an 8-day time and strike movement and a white Waterbury label and directions with a hook for hanging on the verso. The clock is marked ‘The Waterbury Clock Co.’ on the verso.
