A vintage Chinese black-lacquered and hand-painted chest of drawers. The chest features a rectangular top over a case with a pair of cabinet drawers and five stacked drawers, all with silver-toned hardware – including pulls on decorative plates, hinges, and corner protectors – and hand-painted landscape scenes. The cabinet doors open to two pairs of aligned drawers and two stacked, full-width drawers, all with silver-toned hardware and hand-painted flowers. All drawers are constructed with machine-cut dovetail joints. The chest rises on bracket feet.
