A pair of color engravings after lithographs by Carle Vernet including L’entrée à l’écurie. Featured is the piece titled L’entrée à l’écurie (Entrance to the Stables) this work depicts a man wearing hunting colors bring two horse back to the stables. Also included is a work depicting a man wearing hunting colors taking two horses out of the stables and is followed by a dog. These works are in titled in plate below the print image. They are presented behind glass in a white mat and wood frames.

Condition

- scratches and scuffing throughout the image area creating image loss; image paper is discolored & stained; matte area is discolored; dark wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame; corner joints do not meet evenly; glass was broken on both images and removed.

Dimensions

- measures frame; measures visual image: 21" W x 16.25" H; both are equal in size.
