A selection of thrown and handbuilt stoneware vessels by various artists. The selection includes a wood fired, wheel thrown stoneware serving bowl by Matt Kelleher, assistant professor of ceramics at Alfred University. It has a nicely rounded form with a wide rim, glazed in a matte eggshell glaze with turquoise glazed accents, rising on a trimmed raised foot ring. It is marked to the bottom edge and has been wood fired. Please see the link below for more on this prolific ceramist. Also included is a handbuilt stoneware bowl, having a gloss taupe glaze and embossed texture, marked to the underside. Also included is a wheel thrown stoneware vase in a gloss grey finish over a groggy stoneware body, having abstract patterning on the exterior; signed to the underside.
