A vintage oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This piece depicts a Middle Eastern city street covered by ogival archways and lit from behind as figures walk and travel on horseback beneath them. It is unsigned and presented in a painted wood frame with a fabric liner and gold tone fillet. There is wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- discoloration and accretion throughout painting; paint missing toward top right; chips on edges of frame at top center, lower left corner, and lower right corner; discoloration, foxing, and accretion throughout verso of ground; craquelure throughout top portion of painting.
