A Seth Thomas Tempus Fugit grandfather clock. A clock with a blend of classic and contemporary designs with a cherry finish on select hardwoods and veneers. The case has a Federal-style with an arched pediment and urn finial with ring turned side columns flanking a glass front door. The door displays a brass dial with a gold tone hammered center and a silvertone chapter ring with black Roman numerals and serpentine hands. The dial has raised brass spandrels and a silver tone Tempus Fugit emblem above. Other features of the clock include a glass door at the waist with a brass pendulum and cylinder style weights on chains, a Seth Thomas time and strike movement with Westminister chimes and the clock stands on a plinth style base with ogee bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Seth Thomas’ on the face.
