Item Details

An antique Dutch snakewood, ebony, and East Indian rosewood parquetry spice cabinet, late 17th century. The case features a rectangular, crossbanded top above a pair of paneled doors, one of which has a band of rippled molding. The interior has six dovetailed drawers, including one deep drawer in the center with a hidden, two-section compartment in the back. The drawer fronts are fitted with brass, ring handles.
