An acrylic painting on canvas titled La Boheme by well-listed surrealist painter and illustrator Rafal Olbinski (born 1943). This piece depicts a nude woman standing with her back to the viewer in front of a window, white sheet held in front of her and falling draped around her hips. She looks down at an extinguished candle, the smoke rising from the wick forming the outline of a face in profile. Beyond the window, the view opens into a deep, starry night sky above the Parisian skyline. The work is signed to the lower left and presented float mounted in a painted black and silver tone wood frame with a fabric liner and wire to the verso for hanging. There is an included certificate of authenticity.

Condition

- black tape wrapping around edges of canvas is loose and peeling at corners; minor abrasions and wear to frame.
