A late 19th-century porcelain plaque with hand-painted portrait of a female musician. With finely painted enamel decoration the woman appears with loose garb, long hair, holding a lute. The plaque bears fluer de lis back stamp with ‘Firenze’ to the verso, and is signed by the artist ‘Tina Mach Saintpierre’ in blue. Presented in an ornate acanthus motif wood frame, which is painted with a high-shine, gold tone finish.
