A vintage hand-knotted Persian Isfahan pictorial rug. The brick red field is decorated with the depiction of a bejeweled woman’s visage and a ruminating man. The field is surrounded by a series of simple geometric borders. Either end of the rug terminates in cropped cotton warp fringe.
