Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar rug. The rug displays a deep pink lozenge medallion set over a carmine red field. The medallion and matching spandrels display oversized herati design elements. Surrounding the field is a single minor border with blue ground and a large scale samovar principal border. The rug terminates in cropped cotton warp fringe at either end.
