Vintage Gramophone Louis XV Style Wood Parquetry Cabinet

A vintage wind-up gramophone cabinet. This piece features: a wood case with hinged parquetry lined lid which opens to a turntable and and tone arm; a gramophone winding crank to the right-hand side; brass tone metal flower and leaf medallion accents throughout; a lower two-door parquetry cabinet with working brass tone metal key escutcheons which open to a pair of record storage shelves and fabric covered speakers with pierced diamond and circle wood accents. The piece is finished with a serpentine skirt with scrolled foliate central medallion and four cabriole legs with scrolled acanthus leaf tips. No visible maker’s marks.
