Item Details
A hand-knotted Srinagar garden panel area rug. This wool rug features an ogee lattice pattern in a color palette of burgundy; black; powder blue and beige. The ornate field is framed by a resolved compound border with golden yellow herati and orange rhodian guard borders and a golden yellow main border with floral and medallion motifs. The rug is finished with black overcast selvedges, white cotton natural warp lattice fringe and kilim skirts; accented with a multicolored kilim stripe. The rug is unmarked.
