Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool carpet runner. This wool-on-cotton rug features a diamond medallion with pendants on a field of deep salmon with a floral vine motif and vase on each end with a floral spray. There is a compound border in carnation meander and vine motifs, and the rug is woven in a palette of salmon, crimson, goldenrod, black, indigo, green, orange, and ivory. It is finished with overcast edges and a knotted warp fringe at either end. It is unmarked.
