Hand-Knotted Bokhara Style Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bokhara style wool accent rug. The small carpet has been worked in shades of umber, ivory, persimmon, black, and variegated teal green. The green field is infilled with serried hexagonal guls. The multiple borders include geometric patterns as well as boxed elements. An additional lattice band at each end creates a short skirt. The selvedges have been overcast in black and there is fringe at each end. The rug retains a fragmentary label.
