A 1949 key to the city of Manila, Philippines. This silver-toned and brass key was issued to the Hon. John A. O’Donnell, Commissioner of the U.S. Philippine War Damage Commission, by Manila Mayor Manuel de la Fuente in 1949. It bears the coat of arms to the city of Manila to the bow and the date ‘1949’ to the bit, with an engraving on the raft recording O’Donnell’s name and position. The key also includes a red, white, and blue ribbon to the bow.

Condition

- some tarnish and scratches to metal from age; ribbon is faded.
