Handcrafted Small "Crazy" Quilt

A handcrafted Crazy quilt. The small quilt features four blocks constructed of irregularly shaped pieces of fabrics in a variety of colors and patterns. The blocks have been embellished with the addition of decorative stitching and applied ‘yo-yo’ quilt pieces. The four square blocks are assembled into two rows of two, with sashes made of strips of patterned predominantly blue and rose hued fabrics. The border is made of paired strips of both fabrics and the binding and backing ore white. The layers have been fixed with the use of tufting. The piece bears no visible maker’s marks.

- good to fair- some pulled threads.
