A pair of hand colored engravings on paper of Washington DC by William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854). Featured is a work titled The President’s House, from Washington depicting the White House from across a river filled with boats and birds flying. Included is a piece titled Washing, From The Presidents House depicts dirt roads and rows of buildings that lead towards the capital building that sit on the hill. Both works are signed and titled in plate. Both works are presented behind glass in white tone mats and wood frames. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.

- to fair; discoloration to paper; mat burn to edges; nick and wear to frames.
