Item Details
An antique Edwardian mahogany and string-inlaid hanging corner cabinet, circa 1900. The case features a molded cornice with canted sides above a conforming, string-inlaid frieze over a single, astragal-glazed door. The door opens to a removable, glass shelf against a sage green, silk-lined backboard and a top-mounted light socket. There is additional inlay along the panels flanking the door continuing to a molded base. The interior lock mechanism is marked ‘Hand Made / Secure / One Lever / Lock’.
