Vintage German Beer Stein

Item Details

A vintage German beer stein featuring a chased pewter lid and thumb rest with embossed design to the stoneware body. The piece features figures dancing to the design and is marked ‘Bei Trunk u. Scherz bleibt froh das Herz’ in German to the side. It includes a volume mark of ‘0.5L’ to the side and it is marked ‘1901A’ to the side and the underside. It is additionally marked ‘Germany’ to the underside.

Condition

- minor markings noted throughout; some minor oxidation noted; light wear to the underside.
