Hand-Knotted Pakistani Bokhara Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara accent rug. This wool-pile Turkmen rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, mocha, ivory and black, with coral highlights. It features two octagonal medallions amid partial ram’s horn medallions over a crimson field. Framing the field are compound borders and horizontal elem panels, the main border featuring repeating geometric rosettes over black. Selvedges are overcast; ends finish with kilim skirts made of goat hair in gray and tan, with long knotted warp fringe, also made of goat hair. A label on the reverse reads ‘Made in Pakistan’ and ‘100% Wool’.
