A mixed media painting rendered in oil paint and pastels on paper titled Letters From Italy by listed American artist Gracia Dayton (20th Century). This piece features a still life with a bouquet of daisies in a red vase on a blue ground, bordered by an abstract collage of colorful shapes, text and textures. The work is signed by hand and presented under glass in a metal frame, wired to hang.

Gracia Dayton earned her BS in Art Education at Skidmore College and has continued her formal art training at Boston University, The DeCordova Museum School, Bennington College, and San Francisco State. She has also held the previous position of president of the New England Watercolor Society and is a Gold Medal recipient from the same organization. Gracia now paints and teaches at her Lexington, Massachusetts and Catskill Mountain studios.

- warping throughout ground; discoloration to white backing; foxing and marks to lower right on white backing; scuff marks along edges of frame.
