Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish Kula carpet runner. This rug features a palette of deep indigo, scarlet, vermillion, green, and ivory. It has an indigo field with three diamond medallions with serrated edges surrounded by a repeating pattern of rectilinear florals and serrated corner spandrels. This field is surrounded by a geometric vinework primary border and guard borders of stringed diamonds. This rug is finished with overcast edges, a short kilim skirt, and cotton warp fringe on either end. It is unmarked.
