Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Karaja carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of crimson, forest green, bright blue, teal, golden yellow, peach, black, white, and burgundy. It features alternating cruciform and hooked hexagonal medallions on a field densely patterned with eight-pointed stars, animal motifs, and geometric forms. It is framed with trapezoidal meander guard borders and a almond blossom main border. Finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to either end. Unmarked.
