A vintage lithographic print on paper titled York Stage Coach by well listed English artist and illustrator Cecil Aldin (1870 – 1935). This print depicts a pair of children with toy horses tied to a wagon playing ‘make believe’. The children and their cart are set in a rustic looking cobbled street. A small dog pulls at an umbrella hanging from the cart while a ‘real’ stagecoach is partially visible in the distance. This print is signed in plate to the lower left. The piece is presented beneath glass and in a carved wood frame with a decorative green finish.
