A vintage hand-knotted Turkmen accent rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of camel, gold, black, and ivory and features a pair of panels centered by geometric medallions with comb and amulet motifs. The field is framed with compound tekke style guard borders and capped with elem panels comprised of a diamond lattice. It is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
