An original oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Wendell M. Rogers (Massachusetts,1890 – 1973). This loosely rendered painting depicts several men working on a wooden dock, next to a moored sailboat. This work is signed to the verso on the stretcher. It is housed in a gold tone wood frame with cast embellishments, a beige linen liner, and a gold-tone fillet. A mounting wire is present to the verso.

Condition

- to fair. Craquelure across upper portion of painting. Accretion throughout. Stains to linen liner and minor wear to frame finish.
