An original oil painting on canvas by listed Florida artist Alfred Swayhoover (born 1931). This painting, rendered in thick palette knife strokes, depicts a coastal scene with a long wooden dock leading to a white clapboard house. Several small rowboats are scattered in the tall grass and moored at the shore. This work is signed and dated to the lower left. It is housed in a stained wood frame with a beige linen liner and a wood fillet and is ready to mount with a wire.
