A collection of hand colored engravings after original botanical drawings by Syd Edwards. This collection includes an engraving of a tall plant with small red flowers and is marked ‘No. 806 : Syd Edward del. Pub. by T. Curtis, St. Geo, Crescent, Jan 1, 1805, F. Sansom sculp.’ The second print depicts a long-stemmed plant with small yellow flowers and is marked ‘No. 790: Syd Edward del. Pub. by T. Curtis, St. Geo, Crescent, Nov 1, 1804, F. Sansom sculp.’ The third print depicts a plant with large green leaves and small purple flowers and is marked ‘No. 2169: Pub. by S. Curtis, Woolworth, August 02, 1820, Weddell sculp.’ The final print depicts a plant with large purple and green leaves and small orange flowers and is marked ‘No. 504: Syd Edward del. Pub. by T. Curtis, St. Geo, Crescent, May 1, 1802, F. Sansom sculp.’ All prints are housed in protective mats and gold tone frames.
