Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Nain rug. The rug has a diamond shaped central medallion in a palette of tan and navy. The rug has a series of shah abasi palmettes interwoven tightly with lancet leaves and arabesque details on a cream field. The rug has corner spandrels in tones of cream, blue and tan. On the edges the rug has a compound border featuring a meandering vine border in blue tones on a tan field with brightly colored accents. The rug has a natural warp fringe.
