Stoneware
A Chinese carved soapstone inkwell embellished with monkeys. This work depicts monkeys, birds, and ferrets along a rocky composition. A vase and bowl are also present to the sculpture. To the verso is an inscription that reads ‘China’.
Condition
- piece appears to have been previously broken and repaired with super glue; scuffs across surface of piece.
