Item Details

A half-tone print titled Delta Queen by artist J. Franklin Brown. This print depicts the well-known riverboat the Delta Queen afloat on the Ohio River. This print is signed both in plate and by hand to the lower right. In addition, it is inscribed with the following, Best Regards! Captain Gabe Chenhery, Master 10-14-88. The print is presented beneath glass nd in a weathered wood frame with a plaque bearing the title beneath the composition.

Also included is a first edition printing of The Saga of the Delta Queen by Frederick Way, Jr (1951, The Picture Marine Publishing Company). The book is bound in cloth covered boards and features passenger and captain signatures of a July 1951 voyage of the ship to the flyleaf.
