A collection of geometric paper and ink collages by Cincinnati artist Vernon Rader (1924-2017).They depict abstract geometric patterning by collaging drawn and colored forms which were cut out and placed together to create the paneled, three-dimensional compositions. These pieces are signed to the backs of the frames “V. Rader”. They are presented in black wooden frames, under glass, and without hanging hardware. Rader was a well-loved Cincinnati artist and philanthropist. Rader moved to Cincinnati in the 1940s to pursue an art degree at the University of Cincinnati, studying under American industrial designer Russell Wright. Vernon became the art director at Procter and Gamble.
