A signed antique hand-painted French Sevres style urn with Champleve accents. The urn features a fitted dome lid, flared rim, scrolling dragon shaped handles, and a bulbous body on a tapered pedestal resting on a shaped footed plinth. The porcelain body features a hand-painted depiction of a child playing a flute and dressed in period costume, signed ‘De Lys’ to the lower right. The urn also features Champleve decoration to the lid, neck, and pedestal. The piece is marked ‘France’ to the underside.
