A Chinese Yixing style hand-thrown ceramic teapot with lid. The teapot handle and spout are carefully rendered as mythological creatures, while the lid is adorned with a rendered tortoise. Inscriptions adorn the side of the vessel. A maker’s stamp is embossed to the underside.
