A semi-antique Persian Mehriban accent rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of merlot, sapphire, midnight blue. It features a merlot-colored field, with oversized fans of palmettes flanked by expressively a symmetrical sprays of flowers, leaves, and vines. The field is framed by four borders, including a meandering-carnation main border over midnight blue and stylized meandering-floral minor borders and has 2 inch fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
