D & A Curio Case Wall Clock
Item Details
A vintage D & A curio case wall clock. A Federal style wall clock with a mahogany finish on a hardwood and veneer case with a glass-paneled curio cabinet. The case features arched pediments and an urn finial with inset wood side panels and a rectangular shaped curio case with glass side panels. Other features of the clock include a wood framed glass front door that displays a silver dial with black Roman numerals and serpentine hands and the dial is accented with decorative raised brass spandrels. The clock has a lower glass front door that opens to display brackets for two shelves with a wood shelf on the base and a mirrored back. The clock has a quartz movement with a battery compartment on the verso, a hook for hanging and a tapered wood base. The clock is marked ‘D & A’ on the face.
