Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool area rug. This wool rug features a central medallion and corner spandrels on a field of floral sprays in a palette of red, beige, cream and blue. The primary border offers a palmette motif pattern flanked by guards including meandering floral borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and a knotted cotton warp fringe at either end. The rug is not labeled.
