Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool carpet runner. This rug features a tribal-style design in an abrashed palette of red, deep blue/black, olive, burgundy and cream. It begins with a vertical row of hooked and stepped medallions in charcoal and rust over a rust-colored field. Flanking the medallions are partial hooked medallions. The field is framed by a single border featuring pinwheels over olive. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
