Hand-Knotted Persian Zanjan Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Zanjan carpet runner. This wool rug features a tribal-style design in a purposefully abrashed palette of red, cream, midnight blue, mocha, camel and teal. It begins with a vertical row of Kazak-inspired multi-armed medallions over a red field. The field is framed by three borders, including a meander pattern over mocha and multicolored squares over camel. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with multicolored twisted cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
