Sino-Tibetan Porcelain and Metal Teapots
Item Details
A pair of Sino-Tibetan ceramic and metal teapots. Each is made of hand-painted yellow-and-white porcelain encased in a decorated metal frame and spout. The smaller pot features red and taupe floral and abstract detail over yellow; its frame features a metal monkey finial, wrought-metal butterflies and panther-like cat figures in metal along the sides. The taller pot is hand-painted with similar motifs in red, green and gray over yellow; its metal parts include a dragon spout, a rabbit finial, butterflies, an elaborate round shield and panthers. The pieces are unmarked.
