Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Lilihan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of coral, ivory, wine, sky blue, saffron, wheat, rose, and indigo. The coral colored field features an all-over floral filled herati pattern, while framed in a main ivory grounded Arab border, and a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends, as well as a sewn-on vinyl bands to the underside. The underside is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
