Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan accent rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of midnight blue, cream, olive and persimmon. It features a Sarouk-style vase design incorporating vase forms amid sprays of flowers over a midnight blue field. The field is framed by three borders, including a meandering floral central border over persimmon and running water minor borders. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
