A late 20th-century limited edition serigraph on paper titled Mimi and Dog Alex created by listed artist Joanna Zjawinska (Polish/American; born 1950). The piece depicts the portrait of a woman in a red cocktail dress, pearl necklace and floral hair decoration, seated against a multicolored background as she holds a small terrier on her lap. The work is signed ‘Zjawinska’ by hand to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 96 out of an edition of 250. It is centered over a black fabric backing and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- faint discoloration and edge wear to print; marks and accretion to glazing; chips, scratches and wear to frame and moulding; large chunk missing out of the top of the frame.
