A pair of Chinese gouache paintings of women on cork grounds. These two each depict a figure in flowing robes, sprays of grasses and flowering branches to either side. There are lines of calligraphic text with signature seals toward the lower edges of the compositions, both of which are mounted in gold tone bamboo-motif frames with sawtooth brackets to their versos.

Condition

- negligible wear to frames; discoloration to surface of both pieces.
